I wanted to let you know that the government has revised the Employment Eligibility Verification form (form I-9). The revision date is 3/18/13 and is effective for all new hires as of Tuesday May 7, 2013. The new form is now two pages instead of the previous one page. Please call the office if you have questions regarding the new form. You are required to keep them on file. My suggestion is to keep one copy with the employees employment file and the original in a separate file dedicated to just form I-9. As in the past I suggest you keep a copy of the documents you rely on to fill in the form.
